Empowering rape survivors through Education, Awareness and support.
It has been estimated that 40% of South African women will be raped in their lifetime and that 110 rapes occur in the county every day. Furthermore, only 1 in 4 cases are reported and lower than 14% of perpetrators are convicted. It is a sad reality that South Africa’s rape statistics are currently among the highest in the world.

Don’t become a victim of drink spiking
Protect your drinks. Take your power back.
Do you want to have your drink spiked?
To wake up in a strange hotel room with no recollection of the previous night’s events?
Do you want to be found passed out in a public bathroom after having been robbed or raped?
Do you want to be found in an alley way, petrol station forecourt or field having been raped, assaulted, hijacked or murdered?
If you answered “NO” to one or more of these, you need a Drinkerbell!
Drink spiking is more prevalent than we think.
South Africa has one of the highest reported cases of rape and often it is due to spiked drinks, with Rohypnol and a cocktail of other drugs included.

Blue Sky Society Trust is an organisation dedicated to helping people and animals in need. We don’t believe in hanging around waiting for positive, meaningful change to happen. We make it happen. We mobilise the power of passion, perseverance and partnership to preserve our Earth’s precious biodiversity, change community mindsets and global perceptions, uplift, lend a helping hand and “make better”, and raise generations of eco-savvy children.
At the heart of the Blue Sky Society DNA, is the belief that people can do extraordinary things together. We believe that every act of kindness can have a positive ripple effect, and even the smallest contribution can make a big difference.
Our mission is to protect, preserve, and improve life for people, wildlife, and communities in need.
Our vision is to identify and manage projects that people and companies can support by giving their time, expertise, ideas and funds.
